چکیده

Mucilage bloom is a current issue, especially for countries in the Mediterranean Basin, due to economic activities and ecological effects. The main causes are increased nutrient load organic industrial pollution sea, global warming, meteorological conditions at level that can trigger mucilage bloom. It important take permanent measures combat causing mucilage. However, there various actions be performed during period, collection of on sea surface. Surface vehicles used monitor collect aim this study design an autonomous marine monitoring system systems such as unmanned surface (USV). We suggest risky Marmara Sea continuously recording some key parameters using USV. onboard solution proposed has architect based three-tier system. In first tier, scanned with camera(s) certain radius real time. When mucilage-candidate areas determined, vehicle directed region autonomously. second seawater measured time sensors, pH level, conductivity, dissolved oxygen level. third tier where samples three different depths collected (if possible) detailed posterior lab analysis. have compared image processing, CNN (ResNet50), kNN, SVM, FFNN approaches shown accuracy our classification method offers better more promising performance.

ANEMOS: An Autonomous NEtwork MOnitoring System

We describe the design and implementation of ANEMOS, an Autonomous NEtwork MOnitoring System. ANEMOS allows network operators and end-users to schedule, perform, and analyze active measurements on several network paths through a Web-based GUI. The measurements can be performed with “off-the-shelf” tools, such as Ping. The current prototype measures end-to-end available bandwidth with Pathload, ...

Development of an Autonomous Greenhouse Gas Monitoring System

This paper describes the designs of a first and second generation autonomous gas monitoring system and the successful field trial of the final system (2 generation). Infrared sensing technology is used to detect and measure the greenhouse gases methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) at point sources. The ability to monitor real-time events is further enhanced through the implementation of both ...

Parking lot monitoring system using an autonomous quadrotor UAV

This work aims to investigate the use of a drone-based system to recognize license plates of vehicles in a parking lot. Many parking lots contain surveillance cameras mounted on walls or light towers for indoor and outdoor lots respectively. Parked vehicles are commonly monitored by law enforcement agents by driving around the parking lot to identify license plates with an onboard camera or a h...

An Autonomous Landslide Monitoring System based on Wireless Sensor Networks

Landslides cause significant damages to civil infrastructure. Over the years, methods and technologies have been proposed to determine the risk of landslides and to detect hazardous slope movements. There have been increasing interests in developing and landslide monitoring systems to observe movements using sensors installed on the slope. Although providing accurate data, many landslide monito...
